Project Description

This project aims to enhance legal support for international protection seekers in Montenegro and facilitate the proper integration of individuals granted international protection by providing them access to socio-economic services in Montenegro.

The project is expected to provide information, counseling, and legal assistance to international protection seekers and those granted international protection in Montenegro, particularly through:

  • Providing information, counseling, and free legal assistance to international protection seekers from entry into the territory and throughout the asylum approval procedure.
  • Representing international protection seekers and supporting them through the RSD procedure, including facilitating and guiding their local integration for those granted international protection.


  • Translation while providing free legal assistance to asylum seekers in Montenegro.
  • Fieldwork with other project staff involved in providing free legal assistance to international protection seekers and individuals granted international protection, including independent fieldwork.
  • Visits to the Asylum Seekers Reception Center and working with individuals granted international protection.
  • Regular communication with other project staff, UNHCR representatives in Montenegro, and representatives of relevant state institutions.
  • Participation in project-related meetings.
  • Other duties as defined by the project requirements.

Mandatory Requirements:

– Proficiency in Arabic and Montenegrin languages.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:


  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Openness to building good relationships with different ethnic groups.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural and international team.
  • Ability to plan tasks, set priorities, and execute duties under pressure.

Working Conditions:

40 hours per week (possibility of evening and weekend work, depending on program activities).

Salary: 1000 EUR (gross), full-time.
