{"id":46295,"date":"2025-12-19T12:48:58","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T11:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gamn.org\/?p=46295"},"modified":"2026-04-01T12:53:24","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T10:53:24","slug":"educational-workshops-for-ukrainian-families-in-montenegro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gamn.org\/en\/educational-workshops-for-ukrainian-families-in-montenegro\/","title":{"rendered":"Educational Workshops for Ukrainian Families in Montenegro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"64\" data-end=\"291\">In the previous period, we organized four workshops that represent an important step toward empowering Ukrainian families in Montenegro, with the aim of facilitating their integration and improving the quality of everyday life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"293\" data-end=\"631\">The workshop \u201cAccess to Rights under the Law on International and Temporary Protection\u201d was delivered by Valentina Rugovaj, Legal Advisor at Civic Alliance, focusing on areas such as education, healthcare, and the right to work. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive concrete legal advice and relevant information.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"293\" data-end=\"631\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/image3-768x1024.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"952\">The psychological workshop \u201cEmotions &#8211; the Relationship between Emotions and Reason (ABC Model),\u201d led by psychologist Marija Babi\u0107, helped participants better understand their own emotions, develop emotional resilience, and learn how to establish a balance between feelings and rational thinking in everyday challenges.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"952\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/foto-6.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1361\">The third workshop was dedicated to the topic of \u201cGender-Based Violence,\u201d during which lecturer Ivana Ra\u0161\u010danin Radi\u010devi\u0107 introduced participants to different forms of gender-based violence, protection mechanisms, and available support services. Special focus was placed on recognizing risky situations, the importance of timely response, and the role of institutions and organizations in protecting victims.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1361\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Foto-2-1024x768.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1823\">The fourth workshop focused on the prevention of human trafficking and migrant smuggling. Lecturer Bojan Bugarin spoke about the most common forms and indicators of human trafficking, methods of prevention, and the steps to take in identifying potentially risky situations. Participants were also informed about their rights and available support mechanisms. A representative of the embassy also attended the workshop, further contributing to its significance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1363\" data-end=\"1823\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/foto-br.-4-1024x768.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1825\" data-end=\"2045\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">These activities were carried out as part of the project \u201cBridges of Belonging: Empowering Ukrainian Families in Montenegro,\u201d implemented by Civic Alliance in partnership with Save the Children North West Balkans Office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the previous period, we organized four workshops that represent an important step toward empowering Ukrainian families in Montenegro, with the aim of facilitating their integration and improving the quality of everyday life.
