This is the fifteenth club formed by Civic Alliance in Montenegrin municipalities, aimed at networking women councillors and strengthening their influence in local decision-making. The goal of these clubs is to move beyond narrow party interests and promote policies and initiatives in the interest of all citizens.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"560\" data-end=\"868\">In addition to representatives of Civic Alliance, the ceremony was attended by the President of the Municipality of Danilovgrad, Aleksandar Grgurovi\u0107; Vice Presidents Bojan Pavi\u0107evi\u0107 and Marija Radonji\u0107; the President of the Municipal Assembly, Predrag Pajovi\u0107; and women councillors of the local parliament.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"1491\"><strong>Danijela Darmanovi\u0107, representative of Civic Alliance<\/strong>, emphasized that despite their abilities and capacities, women in politics are still often not sufficiently visible. Patriarchal attitudes, the \u201cdouble burden\u201d of work and family, and constraints within political parties often make it harder for women to advance and to gain the space they deserve. She stressed that the Women Councillors\u2019 Club represents an important platform through which councillors, regardless of political affiliation, can cooperate and initiate actions in the interest of the citizens of Danilovgrad and the development of the local community.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"1491\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/DSC_9571-1024x684.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1858\">The President of the Municipal Assembly, Predrag Pajovi\u0107, highlighted that women in politics bring a different energy and approach. \u201cAn approach based on dialogue, inclusion, and problem-solving for the benefit of the entire community. That is why it is important for their voice to be clearly and strongly represented in decision-making processes,\u201d Pajovi\u0107 stated.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1858\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gamn.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/DSC_9497-1024x683.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"2439\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong>Vice President of the Municipality, Marija Radonji\u0107,<\/strong> assessed that the establishment of the Women Councillors\u2019 Club has particular social value. \u201cThis is not just a technical step, but a clear message that women in Montenegro no longer accept being marginalized, but want, can, and must be an equal part of decision-making,\u201d Radonji\u0107 emphasized.
