He holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law from the University of Montenegro and a Master\u2019s degree in International Politics and Security from the University of Donja Gorica, completed within the Humanitistic Studies. His master\u2019s thesis, \u201cPolicies of Ethnic Relations Regulation in Montenegro from the Restoration of Independence to NATO Membership\u201d explored the evolution of ethnic policy frameworks in post-independence Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>Ivan began his professional career through a government-sponsored professional training program at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro. Since May 2024, he has been part of the Civic Alliance, where he currently serves as Coordinator for Human Rights and Justice Programs. In this role, he leads projects dedicated to advancing human rights, transitional justice, and the protection of minority communities, particularly Roma and Egyptians as well as initiatives supporting Montenegro\u2019s Euro-Atlantic and European integration processes.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of his professional engagement, Ivan has successfully completed a wide range of specialized trainings and educational programs in areas such as human rights monitoring in places of detention, legal and institutional reform, and public accountability.
