TRAINING FOR FINAL YEAR JOURNALISM STUDENTS INITIATED

In December 2019, we started activities on the project “Ethical and professional reporting for students” which aims to improve media literacy and critical thinking through contributing to professionalism and capacity building of final year journalism students, to contribute to the standards of professional journalism in Montenegro.

The project is funded by the US Embassy in Montenegro, and one of the initial activities – training for journalism students – is already underway. In these trainings, experienced journalists of the printed media, radio and TV present how different journalistic forms (news, report, article, interview, analysis, commentary) are written in different media, the difference between information and misinformation, how to create a story, research, document and formulate stories, as well as how to present them to public.
