As part of the “Through acquaintance to tolerance and social inclusion” project, supported by the Fund for the Protection and Exerising of Minority Rights, the first lecture was held for high school students about minority rights and tolerance and intercultural dialogue, with a special focus on the Roma and Egyptian population.
The lecture, which was attended by a large number of students, was held at the High School “Tanasije Pejatović” in Pljevlja.
Students are familiar with the related normative framework, that is, with national and international legislation in this area. The focus of the lecture was the culture of the Roma population, and the prejudices and stereotypes that vulnerable categories face. During the lecture, participantare were introcuded with the ways in which they, as individuals, can prevent discrimination and influence its reduction.
