As part of the project “Through acquaintance to tolerance and social inclusion”, supported by the Fund for the Protection and Exercising of Minority Rights, a third lecture was held for high school students on the topic of minority rights and tolerance and intercultural dialogue, with a special focus on the Roma and Egyptian population.
The lecture was attended by many students, and it was held at the High school “Bratstva – Jedinstva” in Ulcinj.
Students were introduced with the related normative framework, i.e. with national and international legislation in this area. The focus of the lecture was the culture of the Roma population, and the prejudices and stereotypes that vulnerable categories face. Participants were also introduced with the ways in which they, as individuals, can prevent discrimination and influence its reduction.
