Milena Vujović was born in Podgorica. She obtained her university degree at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro and specialized at the Diplomatic Academy at the Faculty of Political Sciences. She attended the United Nations International Law Fellowship Program organized by the Codification Division of the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs in The Hague and was trained at the Hague Academy of International Law at their Program of International Law.

She is currently the Coordinator of the UNHCR Project aimed at providing legal aid to asylum seekers, refugees, and persons at risk of statelessness, which is implemented by the Civil Alliance.

Her professional experience includes more than 20 years of work experience in international organizations (UNOPS, OSCE, UNDP, World Bank, USAID), institutes and public and state administration. During that time, she gained extensive experience in all phases of project management, as well as international affairs and diplomacy.

She is a sworn interpreter for English language, speaks Italian fluently, and uses Spanish.

She likes to sing, especially when someone plays, and she also writes sad songs and funny stories. Her favorite sport is looking into the depths, especially the sea one, rather from the beach.

She is raised by four children, two street dogs, bunch of people, a slightly smaller group of friends and the best family.
