Civic Alliance is opening Civic House together with its partners!
Civic House is a platform that will bring together non-governmental organizations and civil activists in order to promote democracy, human rights and fight against social polarization. It will be a place of learning, cooperation and dialogue that will strengthen the capacities of the civil sector and resistance of citizens to human rights violations.
In the joint mission of fostering democracy in Montenegro and promoting civic and European values, the Civic House will provide the perfect platform for all non-governmental organizations and activists to share their knowledge, experience and expertise on human rights advocacy.
Strengthening Civil Society
Civic House will be a strong symbol of the strength of civil society in Montenegro. It is an initiative that aims to improve transparency, accountability and effectiveness of civil activism, while promoting a sense of belonging and ownership among all its members. Civic House will be a platform for all non-governmental organizations and activists to share their knowledge, experiences and expertise on human rights advocacy. It will also offer space for workshops, seminars and trainings aimed at improving the skills of civil actors in areas such as fundraising, communication and advocacy campaigns.

The establishment of Civic House could not have come at a better time! Montenegro faces challenges in the defense of human rights. Civil society needs to unite more than ever before to face these challenges. Therefore, it is important to mobilize as many non-governmental organizations and civil activists throughout Montenegro as possible to join forces in promoting democracy, inclusiveness, justice and equality.
