EXPERT DISCUSSION “JUDICIARY REFORM”

Within previous 12 months, CA conducted the research conducted at Basic courts in Podgorica, Kotor and Bijelo Polje, at the Higher courts in Podgorica and Bijelo Polje, Administrative Court and Constitutional Court. The research analyzed the transparency, access to courts, cooperation with citizens, efficiency and financial management.

Mrs. Vesna Medenica, the President of the Supreme Court, Mr. Duško Markovic, Minister of Justice, Mr. Milan Markovic, President of the Constitutional Court, and Ambassador Mitja Drobnic, Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, will open the expert discussion.

The report “Monitoring of work of courts” will present the author, Mr. Sinisa Bjekovic, legal adviser at Civic Alliance, the discussion will be moderated by Boris Raonic, President of GA.

Representatives of judicial authority, the Government, MPs members of the Board for political system, judiciary and administration, representatives of Academic community, National Audit Institution, relevant civil society, representatives of diplomatic community, journalists specialized in this area and the Notary and the Bar Association and media, will participate in this event.
