As part of the project “Through acquaintance to tolerance and social inclusion”, supported by the Fund for the protection and exercising minority rights, a second lecture was held for high school students on the topic of minority rights and tolerance and intercultural dialogue, with a special focus on the Roma and Egyptian population.
The lecture was held at the High School “Niko Rolović” in Bar, where the attendees showed great interest.
Students were introduced with the related normative framework, that is, with national and international legislation in this area. The focus of the lecture was the culture of the Roma population, and the prejudices and stereotypes that vulnerable categories face. The participants were also informed about the ways in which they, as individuals, can prevent discrimination and influence its reduction.
