Civic Alliance strongly condemns these acts and call on the competent institutions to urgently identify and prosecute individuals who did this in Nikšić and severely punish them.Unfortunately, impunity or the imposition of warning measures have so far been the main characteristics of the authorities’ response to hate speech in Montenegro, which has led to this case as well. Only with the strict penal policy can we stand in the way of the growing wave of tensions, intolerance and hate speech.
If the authorities do not react, it is necessary to dismiss the responsible ones in those institutions due to their inability to deal with such incidents.
