Dear students,
We invite you to a trial simulation organized by the Civil Alliance as part of the celebration of International Human Rights Day. This year, we are focusing on the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in the field of police torture, and in particular we will investigate the case “Milić and Nikezić v. Montenegro”.
The trial simulation will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the premises of the Civic House, Petra Dedića Street 26, Podgorica.
We will present you the course of the trial from different perspectives. From the point of view of the representative of the applicants – Ms. Azra Jasavić and the State of Montenegro – Ms. Jelena Rašović – advisor in the Office of the Representative of Montenegro before the European Court of Human Rights.
Expectations:
A practical insight into the practice of the European Court of Human Rights.
Analysis of arguments and evidence in the case “Milić and Nikezić v. Montenegro”.
Please note that this is not a classic simulation, but a representation of the trial from real perspectives.
