Representatives of Civic Alliance met today with the Minister of Interior, Mr. Sergej Sekulović. At the meeting, they discussed about the control and acting of police officers in the context of respect for human rights, work of the Ethics Committee and the Council for Civil Control of the Police. They also discussed other important topics, such as the asylum and migration system, the status of displaced and internally displaced persons, and statelessness.Representatives of Civic Alliance presented its activities and areas of work that are particularly closely related to the work of Ministry of Interior, and we jointly agreed on the challenges to be worked on and expressed our readiness for any kind of consultation.
The Minister expressed his will to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation, in order to continue cooperation in future.
