Kristina Ćetković was born on 21 April 1981, in Bar. She finished Elementary and High School in Bar. Afterwards, Kristina enrolled Higher Physiotherapy School that has later become Faculty for Physiotherapy, where she passed all exams.
As her desire was to contribute to the community and development of better and fair society, Kristina enrolled the University Course “Leadership and development work with youth”, which implemented PRONI in Montenegro (Project of Northern Ireland), in front of Jönköping University from Sweden. After finished course, she started to volunteer and then to work in Forum MNE (Youth Forum and informal education), which implements programs intended for young people in Montenegro. As youth worker, she worked on projects and activities intended for young people in youth clubs in Bar and Ulcinj. In several occasions, Kristina was coordinator and trainer in youth camps.
Kristina left the work for young people due to her obligations as a student of Faculty of Political Sciences. She was the scholar of Municipality Bar. Kristina finished Specialist Studies, Department for Journalism, and currently attends Master Studies – Public Relations.
She has started dealing with journalism, firstly writing for the first student portal in Montenegro “Tragom”. After that, she continued as the editor of column “Univerziteti”. Kristina worked several years for the portal Analitika. Currently, she writes for the VICE Serbia and Montenegrin edition of LGBT Magazine “Optimist”.
From informal education she has, Kristina especially emphasizes finished “School for Journalism” organized by the Institute for media Montenegro, “School of Gender Studies” implemented by the Office for Gender Equality of the University Mediteran and UNDP and “School for Democracy” of Center for Civic Education.
She is one of the founders of NGO “sPas” that is dealing with the protection of animals. Kristina likes reading and riding bicycle… She spends time walking with her dog Pina.
