GRANT BENEFICIARIES AT THE CIVIL ALLIANCE TRAINING ON PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

In the period from September 22 to 25, the Civic Alliance held a training for the implementation of projects for grant beneficiaries within the project “No Impunity for Violations and Breach of Human Rights in Montenegro,” supported by the European Union, and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.

The training was attended by representatives of six non-governmental organizations that received financial and mentoring support for implementing projects through the Civic Alliance’s Call, open from May 15 to July 3. The organizations are: Action for Social Justice, Zinak, Euromost, MADOP, Monte Lingua, and the Association for the Support of Roma and Egyptians.

During the four-day program, the participants first had the opportunity to go through the content of the contracts and annexes themselves and then through the documentation archive and procedures for control, communication, and user support services. The participants went through detailed instructions on the financial management of the projects, secondary procurement procedures, tender documentation preparation, and project reporting. Through practical examples and the lecturer’s extensive experience, the attendees received clear instructions on creating narrative and financial reporting, as well as instructions on project visibility, such as writing posts and announcements. Special emphasis is placed on ensuring the visibility of EU funding.

In the next seven months, the organizations will work on implementing the project activities, and the Civic Alliance will continue providing them with regular mentoring support.
