Today, in cooperation with the Football Association of Montenegro, we organized a visit by national team players Andrija Bulatović and Marko Perović to the football schools FC Ribnica and FC MKM, which bring together boys and girls from the RE community. On that occasion, the distinguished athletes held a joint training session with the participants, sharing their experience and the values that sport promotes.
The aim of this activity was to promote tolerance in sport, respect for diversity, and inclusiveness, while also helping prevent hate speech and discrimination among young people.
During the training, the children wore T-shirts bearing the message “Respect differences, play together,” further emphasizing the values of mutual respect, team spirit, and unity.
The activity was given special significance by the presence of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, Siniša Bjeković, who stated that sport plays a key role in building a society based on equality and respect.
He emphasized that success in sport is not defined solely by results, but also by the values that players carry with them.
“True success is not only about goals and victories. True champions are those who respect others, play fairly, and support their teammates. Fair play means extending a hand to one another in both victory and defeat, and never excluding one another,” Bjeković stated.
The activity was implemented as part of the project “Sport for Better Integration of Roma,” carried out by the Civic Alliance with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with the aim of encouraging dialogue, understanding, and greater social inclusion of young people through sport.
