CIVIC ALLIANCE (CA) ABOUT RELATIONSHIP OF THE COUNTRY TOWARDS THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS BEFORE THE COURT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS IN STRASBOURG

In earlier work and reports, CA indicated on insufficient efforts of the country in creating adequate access to the protection of human rights before the Court for Human Rights. Inadequate relations of the country and lack of support had for the result that Montenegro came in line with the countries whose citizens (in percents) filed the largest number of applications to the European Court, in comparison to the number of citizens in the country. Insufficient presence of representatives and large number of applications and verdicts significantly contribute to this situation.
