We acclaim efficient and professional conduct of police in this initial phase, and expect efficient investigation as well as severe sanction for the perpetrator. We underline that attacks on journalists and civil society activists are inadmissible for democratic society that Montenegro is striving to be. Recurring pressures on our colleague aim to halt further investigations on direct causes and related interests in ongoing cases, which have been under focus of Robin Hood TV show.
This assault and model of its processing by the competent institutions – will allow Montenegro to, once again, send message to all citizens, media and NGO community as well as international community – on actual compliance with rule of law and whether investigative journalism on violations of human rights and laws – is being appreciated or sanctioned.
